the C4 does not come in a 8 mtr version, i would say go with the 9/12 combo the 9 is a really nice kite very quick, and the 7 is just even better, great build quality and bar, and superb feel.

How are you going to rig the depower strap from the 5line 08 to run with 10? I thought the 08 bar shortened only 5th line not the front 2 like in 2010? Interested! I never flew ozone kite, except foils, but I don't think any kite is rigged on the 5th line. That's just for safety, or? The front line...

actually you are right, the 2008 system is bacically the same as the CAB system pulling in the depower rope. forget what i said before, only look for kites with single line release. that is available on the North 5line kites, Ozone kites, and Naish kites after 08.
