Re: Best Kitesurf Magazine?

Great topic. I have have had subscriptions to Kiteworld, Kiteboarding, SBC, and The Kiteboarder. After a year I have only renewed Kiteworld and The Kiteboader. I prefer the format of Kiteworld but fell like the content of The Kiteboarder is the best. I feel that The Kiteboarder provides the best rev...

Re: Some thoughts after 2nd lesson

Welcome to the sport dyyylan. One thing that I have found really helped me when body dragging is crossing your legs at the ankles. Doing so will make it easier to keep your legs stretched out and help stop them from folding back. It does make a bit of a difference if you cross right over left or lef...

Re: Whats Best Golf Bag (Kite bag really!)

Hi Chilllbay, I'm sure no matter what people write back with you will get others saying the complete opposite. Personally I have both the Dakine Club Wagon and the Dakine SX bag. I have travelled with multiple airlines and have never had to pay for oversized luggage. The same goes for my two friends...

I mean, grasshoppers can jump, too, y'know. I believe that it was Kiteworld Magazine that had asked Lou ...

Re: Kiting in the US, from June to August

I'd say Hood River is a must. I hear that Sherman Island near San Francisco is good. If you are into camping, you may wish to also consider coming up to Nitinaht Lake in BC. Squamish is also good just north of Vancouver, BC. Most of the key places for wind will have some sort of "wind fest" over the...

Hey soul19,

Sorry to hear about your bag. I'm sure that Dakine will look after you, they are up there with Patagonia in my experience.

Re: Patagonia Wetsuit Failure - Anyone Else?

I have the R4 wetsuit and only kite with on the BC coast. I absolutely love this suit and now want to also get the R3 because it is a little too warm at times. On their website they have forms to print off and submit along with your damaged wetsuit. Their warranty on anything that carries their name...
