regarding the wichard, i've noticed play developing in it at the pivot pin at the top, nothing serious yet, but eventually it might hinder closing the shackle as the front arm will rest against the edge and not the front of the wire gate spring.

lets throw this one in then. i'm pretty light, and i can hold back a lot of power by laying that kite on its edge over the water, but sometimes when you get pulled upright its better just to jump the power out of the kite, go slow and big, and then dive the kite back down, stalling it on full power ...

the rip stop is porscher and its generally regarded by the paragliding fratertinity as being one of the best, its uv resistance in lighter shades is way better than anything currently used in lei's.

one or two of the foil companys use it on their high end offerings.

good board, excellent grip, nice straps, light and has a very tough base.

however the footstraps have been known to pull out, everywhere but in the states apparantly.?
