Re: Thesis around the kitesurfing industry

....different cultures value recreation differently. Is there a strong culture around recreation / sports there?.... So true. I was struck recently reading about "Blue zones" where the incidence of cardiovascular disease is extremely low and average lifespan is very high. The people in these areas ...

Re: I broke my ribs, what next?

When you start kiting again, definitely use a seat harness. I like my...

Re: Liability Release Form

If you're selling or donating used kiting equipment, you have a duty (under US law) to (1) disclose any known defects and (2) advise buyers/users that kiteboarding is an extreme/dangerous sport that can result in injury, death, etc. Your best and most economical approach would be to disclose defects...

Re: climate change / unpredictable weather/wind

Now for an opinion - there is a tendency for the older generation to be offended by a shift away from the old ways, or simply to not want to accept or admit that anything could be done better. Re: Turks & Caicos - when is a good month to go kiting there

I am going kitesurfing in Turks & Caicos this coming December and was wondering if any of you are familiar with the location and could share suggestion of which sizes of kite I should bring for a 70KG rider. I could play safe and just bring 10M, 12M and 14.5M but ideally I would only bring 2 kites…...

Re: Kite Brand with the most Kite Models historically

Slingshot had the RPM, SST, Fuel, Turbine and Rally for 10 years. The last 3 years were a little bit more confusing. The RPM became RPX. The Rally became the Rally GT and then it was replaced with the Code. The Fuel was cancelled. They presented a new big-air kite, the Raptor, that was replaced aft...
