Re: flysurfer sonic3, any news?

So my friends, last saturday eventually THE day came: I was able to test my Sonic 13! Bought in febraury (!!), then Covid, then strong winds... I have to say the day did not start the right way: I was alone on the beach and I had to ask to a friend of mine not very expert with foil kites to help me ...

Re: Should Toby start a crowdfunding to save KF?

My side, I would pay something to keep the forum alive. I don't know the grand total that Toby needs. 60 persons are not a lot but are also not a few.

Re: 1st kite for a beginner - Slingshot RPM or Rally (2019 models)?

I agree with Zlato, you'd better go for the Rally. About the size, 10 to 20 I would say 12 also for the Rally. Keep in mind it's very stable and predictable with a smooth power delivery.

Re: Kitesurfing before a thunderstorm

Frankly speaking, I think this video is not a good idea. It's extremely dangerous to play "I'm a meteorologist", and try to forecast which type of thundestorm is coming and which one is "safe" for kiting analyzing, as a complete profane, wheater maps. I think that story showed a very large number of...

Re: flysurfer sonic3, any news?

My 13 is closed in the bag for the moment, Covid rulez. Maybe in one or two weeks it will be possible to kite again, can't wait to test it!!
Thanks Armin for your posts, very appreciated.

Re: How many kites...

My set: 7 for serious wind, in my home spot it means once in 3 years. 11 standard wind 15 light wind 21 to kite when every other soul (not the kite) is on the beach looking at you jealously. I just bougth a Sonic 3 13, I hope it's going to replace both the 11 and the 15 in my home spot. Not tested y...

Re: Core Sensor Bar 3 release

I own 3 Core (an old one, a Sensor and a Sensor 2 pro) and 2 FS bars (the Infinity that came with my Speed 5 21 and the new one that came with my Sonic 3 13). Could not test the new FS due to Covid but the overall impression is that the Sensor pro remains light years ahead. It’s soooo light (no comp...
