Be careful with the free version of surfplan and a segmented leading edge with high sweep back. It'll be very difficult to sew the segment seams. Do some tests before you print all the plans and cut all the panels! I described the "challenge" more in detail here: https://kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?...

It is a Holly Book of instructions: http://www.zeroprestige.org/sewakite.pdf Unfortunately it's also very outdated and you may be confused more than before :naughty: I will publish an updated step by step tutorial and explain how to use the markers on the cutted panels (and DXF). I'm still working ...

have you even consider a dvd/internet kite sewing course! saves time and teaches proper sewing techiniques to build and repair kites!discussion on proper machinery would go a long way!! That's another item on my todo list. Unfortunately the list is a bit longish... :roll: But maybe we could arrange...

Karsten, what cord do you use in the trailing edge? Earlier I asked stevet25 what he used and his solution is a 30mm dacron strip. I'm using a 1.5mm Dyneema line Tried a few different ways to get a nice and stable trailing edge. Really like the one with the line, mainly because of the look and feel...
