Re: New Duotone Online Shop Is Live

Re: 30.4m Jump on Woo? Now 30.7m!!

I think for most people its a measuring device independent on its accuracy . For yourself its a nice way to measure progress and as it is the same device the error of measure doesnt mather either. I have no problem with woo but your reasoning here is not helping the cause lol! :o If I applied that ...

Re: GPS Action Replay - Help

After some troubleshooting I found that for some reason the software is unable to read the timestamp. My speed is zero or infinity. I opened the GPX file with GPS Track Editor, exported back into GPX, and this time it works. Interesting to see the polar at last! Is the pro version necessary? Negativ...

Re: Holes in aluminum mast

Thats quite the "lever"! So it looks like the further you get from the wing the stress increases. I've got the ss masts, maybe I'll sacrifice one for the sake of science! Maybe fill the holes with the lightest foam hmmmm If you can't calculate moments you won't understand much of your experiments. T...

Re: When she says go deeper but you're all out of tension

Work the kite as said, and/or keep it high and never low when lightly powered - and keep the speed up :thumb: 8) Peter I'm looking for a more 'steady state' solution as I can have up to 4km to do on a single reach. Keep the kite high and see how deep I can go downwind without losing power? Why do y...

I'm talking mostly to freeriders here, as the racers will unanimously say I should use two sizes bigger. I am not using race kites, or a race hydrofoil. What do you do when you're out on a 'relaxed' cruise, and the wind drops a little more than you would like. As a result, you have less power from t...
