It is hard to conceive a 16m in the 20-25kts range as the graph shows - that is a lot of kite. They were my thoughts exactly until I was out with a 16m One in over 20knots.The range of the kite is very impressive.I was riding with a 137 Litewave stealth in up and down conditions where guys on 12's a...

It would seem to me that Cabrinha thinks the is no market for C shaped kites. Most of the kite companies appear to be making Bows and C's.Why would Cabrinha lose market share by not producing C kites. I checked their web site and no new C shape was to be found.

When I used a reel leash,I would wear it on my left side.I would then put a zip tie around the left footstrap at the outside of your left foot. The reason for the zip tie,If you have a nasty get off then it would break instead of ripping your strap, fin screw, handle or what ever you attached the leash...

When I learned to kite in 2000 at age 40, many of my windsurf buddies though I was nuts.Back in the day with only a video to learn from ("how to Rip",I think..lol) it was a fairly painless experince, lots of swimming etc, blah blah...The guys who d...

A good place to start is with a tape measure.Measure from the arch of your foot, to just below your knee cap. This will give you number which can be applied center to center with your straps. My experince with kiteboards and snowboards is that if it feel's "comfortable" it(your stance) usually is si...

I rode a 16m One kite on Saturday. The bar worked very well I thought. The first couple rides I had trouble with the trim cleat.I could not get it to release. My mistake was trying to pull the rope up,back against the cleat.Once I started to pull the rope down, away from the cleat, I could set the rope...

Fred,I've had some really good days with the X2 last week.Let me say"WOW" what a kite!.The X2 rocks!.I've never used a kite with so much range. It has very good low end,not as much as the Cabrhina but suprising. The mid range and the high end is really good. The X2 really likes board speed. The kite fli...
