Any concave top deck / big rocker pocket boards out there?

Been looking all over for that perfect 39-36" inch pocket board for freestyle/wave + boosting/tricks. Foot hooks, not strapless. Do you know if there's anyone out there making them? Could be mainstream or custom, doesn't matter Ideal specs: – Concave top deck – centerline holes for foot hooks – 3-5l...

Any Vantage kite reviews?

Lot of promise in these kites yet I haven’t heard from anyone using them in the field yet. Who has tried them? What do you think?

Re: Lift 200 for kiting

I sold it right away....broke two 200 wings within a month of kiting on them....got an email directly from nick..."200 wing is not designed for kiting"...no warranty on the second one if you kite on it....I did unfortunately....

Re: Lift 200 for kiting

I used Lift's 90, 110, 130, 150, 170 and 200 extensively. Of those I returned the 90 and 200 after about 10 sessions. All the other ones are IMO the best freestyle/wave foils out right now. Easily better than Moses 633. More fun, more carvy and more durable. 200 is unusable for kiting - too much fro...

Re: state of the art wave kite foiling

P.S. (super secret tip) Electric skateboards like Lacroix Lonestar, Bamboo Evolve GT, Onewheel and oldschool Carver skateboards allow you to work on the same wave techniques on land, essentially doubling your time learning while keeping that kite and foil stoke. It's not an coincidence that you see...

Re: state of the art wave kite foiling

I love kite foiling waves and can't get enough of it. So much more to discover! Per earlier mentions - go to school on Oyvind, Adam Withington, Fred Hope, Kai Lenny, Ketos, BRM, Horue and Core rider vids and give it some time – foil surfing will evolve into much more complex ride sequences as more p...

Re: Peak Foil

I think we all might be a bit spoiled when it comes to expectations on kite and foil progress :)

Re: Peak Foil

Very much disagree on the stagnation - there's a lot going on in foil biz and innovation. There are no huge changes in the industry, but there are huge changes on the water this year. There are a LOT more foilers riding in 2020, with the majority of remaining full-time twintipper folk "giving in" th...

Re: Foilers - do you still "surf" surf?

OP here again. Quite a big gamut of responses here. I'll briefly sum up what a lot of you have said: - most of you still do both (kitefoil surf and kitesurf), but you still do each depending on time/conditions are right - most of you will pick kite foilsurf as the one thing because you either like i...

OP here. Thanks for all the responses, still processing :)
By surfing waves I mean do you prefer kite foilsurf or kitesurboard
