Re: Core Sensor 3 Safety Issues

I cannot comment on the OP issue since we haven't experienced it to date in the UK, and the last time I reacted to an 'alleged' issue posted here I laid in stocks of bridles thinking there might be a probem, they remain here unsold. There was however an early issue with bars carrying the serial A or...

Re: Lost Kiteboard - Camber Sands UK

Try the Camber kiters facebook group, I'll keep my ear to the ground, it'll turn up.

Re: Duotone Rebel vs Core XR6

I had a chance to demo the lastest XR a few days ago. I cannot compare it to the new Rebel though, only to my old 5 line-rebel. I though the XR6 would be a slow kite made for jumps only, but I was surprised by the demo. I tested a 9m and if I remember correctly I had it on the "soft" setting. It wa...

Re: Forum Etiquette, Helmets and Respect.

That's not fair. It's not a monopoly business at all- theres at least one other school permanently based there and other instructors also run lessons there. Well my information is that as of this season no other kite school or independent instructor, is permitted to operate there by order of Rother...

Re: Forum Etiquette, Helmets and Respect.

What should happen at Camber, given it's history with mass drownings of tourists, the now monopoly beachside kite business that have 'connections' with Rother District Council should either provide 'launchers' or do a deal and train the new lifeguards into multi role 'launch assistants' it would not...

Re: Forum Etiquette, Helmets and Respect.

I don't get you. Why am I not surprised? I'll type slowly so you can keep up. I'm not asking you to respect me... I'm suggesting you respect the families, friends and fellow travellers of those who die whilst kitesurfing, if somebody reports it here. No point really, you don't get it anyway, but ma...

Re: Forum Etiquette, Helmets and Respect.

The fact is things were different back then, I came to this forum post the accident to research safety systems and all I got back then was wichard shackles, and yes we are more blase because it's a lot lot safer now, and we may well have forgotten our history, in my case a massive frontal windshift ...

Forum Etiquette, Helmets and Respect.

Far be it from me to be the one to call this given my history for levity and irreverence, but I did find the lack of respect on the Camber fatality thread apalling. This forum wasn't always like this and there were always albeit unwritten rules folk used to abide by. One of which was definitely no b...

Re: Depower Line Wear

I had this very issue once again today, some entitled snowflake wanting a warrantee replacement for a depower rope, I had to ask the question, did he ask his car dealer for warrantee on the tyres of his car because they're wearing? Depower ropes wear, it's a fact, they wear in our country more in th...

Re: Core just released: XR6 and XR6 LW

Just seen that REAL review, they do seem very enthusiastic about it, they must have had them a bit longer than us. I could recommend the 9 XR5 and thus the XR6 to anyone, I've not heard anything negative and must admit the 'static grunt' as you call it hasn't been mentioned to me before and I can't ...
