i usually travel with a ~90cm min volume board, 92cm carbon mast and equally wide surf wings.. if you can keep lengths under 95cm or so... you can use a standard(albiet extra-large) suitcase...which fits the board, foil, harness, impact vest...and 4-5 kites (2 or 3 small peak4s. a small foil kite......

yea.. i spend *mucho* time in cabarete... but i would never call it "the best" place. ..for me it is super convenient. it is a 90 min flight from miami, it is usually windy enough to foil...and there are decent waves off the reefs. the most beautiful area would be isolated areas in bahamas and turks...
