Just gone over to using foot hooks and you only need then at the front. It's just a little trickier at first but you very quickly get used to water starting with them. Once you are up and riding they made me much more confident in the knowledge my foot was free. I really rate them.
Thanks, I had seen that one but unfortunately it's a 15 and I'm after a 12m Yeah, I am with you on this one - I have tried one strut and strutless light kites many times, and compared the 12 and 15 ranges, and found no advantages whatsoever with a 15, only disadvantages  The 15 will very fast...
Thanks for the help, I'll have a look at the gong forum. Been looking for a used storm voyager 3 but have only come across one for sale in the last 3 months and I was beaten to it, so starting to look at new options....unless someone reading this has one for sale
I'm looking to buy a 12m strutless/single strut kite so looking for some reviews of the latest offerings. There's been a storm voyager 4 thread but has anyone tried the new gong v2. What's the bottom end like and does the optional centre batten make a difference. Thanks
Pedro, you say 12m is not a light wind kite. What would you say the bottom end is? I'm currently using 12m switchblade so looking for an improvement on that.
