I do not say it’s useless, just that marketing bs about centering inserts. Slingshot had this for a long time, Naish introduced it three years ago. We ride a lot in the shallows, grinding over sand bars spiked with pieces of seashells. My kite buddy does this a lot and you see the wear on his Monar...
Fliptech Technology 😂 Agree, useless. How common is it to wear out the heel side edge on a board? More importantly offset mounts just make more sense and allow a comfortable stance and foot position with just about any footpad/strap on the market. What am I missing? Why are in-line inserts suddenly...
IMHO I think Ocean Rodeo is taking a big chance by positioning itself as an ultra-premium brand. To me the question is how do they best use the new materials and are they going into equally great designs? Just making a kite or wing lighter is not enough.
Excuse me but I'm skeptical about their claims on number of kites pumped on a charge.
I don't understand the fascination with this pump. Yes it's small okay great. So is this one, any user reviews out there? https://avropump.com/
One of the 1/8 is is run into the other 1/8 to make a 1/4" single line leading to the cleat. The other one is a safety line running up to one of the front lines.
How are you able to get 1/8" inside 1/8" for that long of a length? What tool are you using? Thanks
Tried a system based on the Zeeko. The good, no clamcleat is needed and no dangling depower line. Downside, it's ultimately more bulky and harder to adjust vs a simple single depower line and clamcleat. Not worth it imho.
