Re: Why a stabi, when wing foiling?

Nice, I just skipped his "wing7" video as the music is a bit difficult, while the one of Nr. 8 just fits so much better :D Great show as always: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JyMaNUtsCZY Even if Groove missed my requested volume by 32% , the board is quite interesting, even if not in every ...

What about a Peak4 2,4 m²? Why a smaller size? As my impression is that I am not alone as light rider who wants to meet the joy of bigger waves in >30 knt, where the 3 m² just starts to get uncompfortable. Why exactly 2,4 m² I think it would fit very well in the row ... 4; 3; 2,4 m² as well as ... ...

Re: Riding unhooked tutorial

.. I am really looking forward to the next unhooked video from different angles - maybe from land would be good? How can I test, if my kite is trimmed not to backstall while completely depowered? is it possible to to start on land to unhook or in waist deep water? Hi, jumptheshark already named mos...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

.... i was going to order a 5m, but would a 4m be better? have never tried a peak, Hi, the 4 m² should be a good compromise if added to your 7 m² Hyperlink. The 5 m² should have much to much overlap if not totaly inside HLs windrange, and about the 3 m² you have been warned. IMHO if using a small b...

Re: No Leash? How to get your wingboard back

Thank You Gunnar, for repeating the test at sea. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4Vr2sufg7g&t=158 Even if I would add that it depends a bit from situation, taking decision with or without into overall risk management: - if you are total beginner with dificulty in wing handling as flipping, it is be...

Re: Soul lines broken?

Very usual, in dirty, sandy, salty conditions and maybe not the highest level of maintanance, the yellow pulley line can react sensible and may break even after 25 days in worst case. In best conditions it is possible to have 100 sessions and more. It is important to wind up the lines inclusive the ...

Re: Monofoil or "riding stabless", setup and riding

Hi seglarn98, if you have a Moses Onda 633 try this, it is a much much better mono wing than any Gong wings will be for sure, at least my Gong M Rise and Curve (Pro is not a name of Gong wings, all Gong stuff seems to be "pro" ) The only way to find out quality of a wing to me is riding it as...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

As said on page 196: Still not ready to give you precise tips for retrimming your older Peaks, but just reporting a bit of the progress. If you want, at this stage, anybody may try to use the info themself. But I still recommend to wait for my own final trim recommendations. I have measured 5x Peaks...

A friend has the 3,3 m² if I see him, I can check it, but may take a while.
