try putting a little bit of oil inside of the clasp. i know this helped out my slingshot safety leash, but i haven't tried it in the water. the oil will probably not stay on for very long.

i have a couple of old directional wakeboards. i was thinking about through another fin or two on them, and seeing if they would work. they look like they would. they have pretty sharp rails and a flat rocker line.

my bar ends cracked too. some silicone would mprobably work well. it will hold it together, but still be able to flex with it. i don't know how long it will last though. the electrical tape is probably the best bet until you get replacements.

ok, go ahead and do it. see for yourself what will happen. it is not just the terrain, but the extra leverage from the big wheels. i have seen so many skate trucks with extended axles that are bent. let me know how it works out.

skate trucks were not made to hold up to the punishment of off-road boarding. if you used a longer axles, it would have to be like titanium or something. earthboard also sells skate truck axle extensions, but i have never used them, so i don't know how well they work.

most impact vests are not approved flotation devices, so if it is the law for you to wear one that is approved, then you are stuck with the jet ski life jacket. i have an o'neal neoprene life jacket that i use for jet sking and wakeboarding that is approved. i used it when i first started kiteboardi...

i wonder if there is some kind of a bug repelent that wont hurt the kites. that is pretty weird. you might want to also put your kites in a sealed container, but make sure they are dry first.
