Around 11-13 m/s with 23 m lines, probably 1 or two more if you run it on 20 m. Depends a bit on trim, this was on a Sword 2 foil with my 85 kg at a spot with waves that max out at around 1 m. Mine was a late production model with new bridal and speed system. I have no idea whether the different spe...
Also he could ride the ML foil and R1V2 where the primary competition was on year old kites or foils or both. On top of that he is a fast guy! 44 knots at around 140 degrees to the wind is just crazy.
85 kg here, for foiling in 4-6 m/s get the 15. If you do not care about 4-6 m/s get the 12. I have been out on the 12 Voyager 3 quite a few times now and it is a very nice and responsive kite. Was apprehensive about the strutless thing as I was coming from Ozone Edges, but it is not that big of a pr...
Storm Voyager is a pretty good middle way. The smaller sizes have three struts and the larger ones are strutless but still grunty on the freeride setting. The 12 is very light and easy to fly and the 9 handles guts well. Compared to the size the 12 maintains it shape without coning a lot which I tho...
Unidirectional give very poor results, I would buy a better high closure twill weave mat instead. You need several directions anyhow and the laminate properties will be more consistent which is good for durability.
Stop using super sap from Entropy it is way to exothermic.
You infuse so that the flow front does not trap air that is why you never infuse top - down, you want a nice even flow chordwise with some flow media at both sides.
It is probably an Advance kite design, a few people on the HFPT used them last season. North probably made the price tag and the graphics so it will be double cool and double price awesomerness
