1600cm2 is 250 sq inches ! wow thats huge man ! i think its just gonna be too much drag

on such large wings i think its important to go with high aspect or your wing is too thick causing alot of drag

The welds didn't fail, but rather the heat generated from the welds will cause the stainless to harden

It's stainless steel , it's doesn't fatigue well at all ....

As Gunnar says , wrapping with biax carbon will give the piece tortional strength , essential for a nice stiff fuselage

Love your builds man ! Why two layers veneer ? And 4oz fabric glass is just adding weight , it won't get to be loaded as the carbon will load up before the glass Surely 1 layer 200g on the bias is enough ? i need a smaller kite and found this .. anyone tried it for foiling ? i ride my 9RRD the most, but sometimes a bit over powered
