Re: Exuma, Bahamas Kite trip?

I head there next week... check out this forecast... do I bring my 12m, or just go with the 7 & 9? 8) Seriously. I'm a lightweight at about 155lbs... I won't need the 12m unless this forecast is a total flop, and it hasn't changed in a week... in fact it's gotten even stronger. I'm going to most li...

Does the RPX has pulleys? In the technical movie I see a short shot with a 'aluminium connector' between the bridle and the line connection. Is it a pulley? On the site Slingshot they don't say anything about pulleys..?
Looks like a slider... Same principle as a pulley.

Re: RPM Dead?

Looking at the description there's no discussion of the bridle apart from it being 25% lighter. Will it have the same wake style/frestyle setting? I guess we can assume it's now fixed bridle/no IRS from the promo pictures alone. I wondered what Julian Fillion was up to at Ride Engine.... Hard to se...

Re: RPM Dead?

It looks almost identical in shape to the rpm my guess is that it's still great unhooked. Probably cheaper to make since they got rid of so many panels and lighter too which is nice I was thinking the same thing... I think they probably felt like they the RPM ran its course and was in need of a ful...

Re: RPM Dead?

Also it looks like they are boosting how light it is but using a 4x4 fabric. Looks like a similar shape as well. I hope it’s good and an improvement in the right direction. My 9m needs to be replaced in the next couple of years.

Re: Pump Hose Replacement

I try not to put anything in the bag either, but on occasion need to if I have a long walk. I appreciate the feedback everyone provided. I'm going to take IrieJohns advise and make up my own hose with the old fittings from WMFG hose. I'm hopeful I can easily find a hose that will not require zip tie...

Re: Pump Hose Replacement

I used heat shrink and its still working but I have my doubts it'll last much longer. Which is why I was looking for a more permanent solution. Also, I don't want to use the WMFG hose in cold temps.
