Re: The Hybrid from Flysurfer

For those on the hybrids, I just realized this last week+ of kiting that you definitely want your steering lines about 2”-3” (5cm-8cm) shorter than the flying lines. A friend was riding in the same conditions as I was and complaining his kite was gutless. When I went to experiment a bit I realized ...

Re: Pansh Kestrel, high performance kite

LOL I've learned long time ago you are a FS fanboy with usual limited understanding of kites. Unpacking new kites and having a ride and telling how does it feel, very common stuff. No doubt FS likes your marketing work and perhaps you get some discount? I think you should. Pretty sure my review and...

Re: Pansh Kestrel, high performance kite

I've learned a long time ago to basically ignore kite(notreallyan)expert. He certainly talks it up but not once has he ever shown his work and I wouldn't hold my breath. He comes in here to brag to self inflate his ego but never really adds anything to the discussion. I'm sure most of the foil kites...

Re: Longevity of the FS Soul

Sure, bridles have to be worked every few hundert hours for sure. But that's not too difficult to do an can be checked. How do I know if the bridle needs attention? I just got a used 10m Soul. Previous owner told me he used it for a season at the great lakes and not much since he also had a 8m and ...

Re: Lift efoil awesome update for remote

Competition is good and does magic for consumers. My first foil back in 2015 was MHL Lift and my first efoil was a Lift e2 - 3 years ago. Haven’t had a chance to try Flite. Tried Takuma and Waydoo back in 2020. Will try that home built assistive drive my buddy built once I’m in OBX again. $1200 of ...

Re: Lift efoil very nice remote update

:thumb: Wow I'm amazed how much better the flite remote is compared to that brick. Wow, I'm amazed that you're still trolling Lift posts. Maybe get a life? Ha triggered much? I'm amazed lift can try to charge the same as Flite for obviously worse tech. And the newest carbon mast with an even smaller...

Re: The Hybrid from Flysurfer

Peak5 has less to no flapping, better range, better drift, better material, faster, etc. I know, thats what Flysurfer said. But we were flying them in parallel and couldn't see it at all. We used 13m, so maybe it's only true für smaller sizes? Oh yea, the 13m is a dog no matter the size. While the ...

Re: The Hybrid from Flysurfer

Try the Marabou2. It really is a Peak5 that's water relaunchable. Isn't the weight of Marabou 2 a lot higher than Peak? I love, that the Hypser is even lighter than Peak. There really was a big jump in performance and handling from the Peak4 to Peak5. Such a difference with just a couple little twe...

Re: The Hybrid from Flysurfer

I love the responsiveness of the Peak and wish the Hybrid flew like that. I love the robustness of the Hybrid against deformation and wish the Peak had a bit more of that. Haven't tried the Peak5, so I'll take your word for it. Try the Marabou2. It really is a Peak5 that's water relaunchable. IMG_1...
