Re: Bar Lines crossing *under* the distributor

Is it affecting multiple kites or just one size? You could change line length. Maybe add 20-30cm pigtails all around?

Re: how to mount sailmon computer on race board

I would probably use footstrap/snowboard inserts. You could route cavities in the deck and epoxy them in, or mount them on the surface and cover with some patches of glass or carbon, if concerned about potential leaking into board core. Maybe use an extra one to attach a leash to the fancy gps box t...

Re: What should be my everyday kite size?

For your experience/skill and weight, either buy ($$) a board aprox.135-140 long and about 40 wide, or buy ($$$) a 9 or 10 kite for wind >16. The choice really might depend on why you arent making more transitions after two seasons. After 20 sessions you should be making some basic transitions even ...

I did that by accident with a 13m ozone c4 in 15 knots or so. 20m lines. No injury, felt lucky.

Re: Winger bungee jump from bridge - wingerbungee?

Balloon jump?
Have seen this, or similar. Cant find video now.
Glide was not good.
High airspeed made wing unstable, poor control and high Gs ripped wing out of hands, popped chute and survived.
I doubt many would try this stunt twice.

You can also crochet a helmet out of rope found on the beach to protect that beautiful mind.

Re: conspiracy theory: no way wings should be so expensive

The wings (and kites) are too expensive. The boards are egregiously expensive for essentially the same 40 year old tech used in other products that cost 30-60% less. The “progression” and innovation are nice but half the time end up being illusory. All gear sports end up as a tax on fun. But it’s st...

Re: Bungee - great idea for foiling in small lake or river

Horue used to sell bungee ropes, maybe does still.
They have videos showing caneri using the bungee to start along a quay and then pump around for a while.
