frontwing made of 2 windsurf fins? link?

hello,

somewhere I once found a picture or description from somebody
who had glued together windsurf fins, modified the profile
and added some layers of glass or carbon, to make a nice front wing.

but I cannot find the link anymore.

can anybody here give me the link ?

best regards

Re: Hydrofoil Action shots - post them here!

:bye: :bye: :bye: AS I am an old and rather clumsy fart just foiling around is just as much action I can offer. but look at the nice colour of my favourite lake. and look at the nice track I've recorded this day. 59 kms in 2:20 including 8.5 km upwind / downwind and some stops is not fast for a race...

Re: Hydrofoiling myths .. exposed

very good summary imho !

I hope that you don't mind that I borrowed Your summary for the german "oase.com" forum hydrofoil thread.

Reason I posted it is that I can't watch nebies spending their money for crap foils.

Re: Jump proof hydrofoil

i can tell you so far what I have seen: The "Levitaz" construction is pretty much bomb proof. We have seen jumps to up extreme heigths (10 m at less than 12 knots, no joke) by teamriders on our spots - and as far as I know there was not a simple damage that had occured (without contact to solid grou...

why helmet ?

one question: for what special reason do so much foilers wear helmets, and why is it also recommended here ? my biggest fear while foilboarding (intermediate, foiling 1 year now, but not too often, quite sharp top end foil) is cuts by the trailing edges or sharp edges of the frontwing oder rearwing ...

Flysurfer Boost – Race Tube Kite – 11 m

I now also have the 11. It works incredible good for me with the foil, using 34 m lines the fun starts at about 8-9 Knots for me (96 kg). Yesterday I had a really nice day going about 65 km in about 3 hours, going upwind +/- 9 km. See GPS Track enclosed. Thermal winds 9 - 15 knots the 11 was nearly ...
