Re: Moses SABfoil

Was going to buy a 679 for kitefoiling ,have the 633 and fuselage 710 and S483 stabilizer (don't want to buy a new fuse or stab) what are the options? Have tried to find a s/hand ,or new,683s or 679 but no luck so far You can use any of the Slingshot Phantasm wings. They will fit the 710 fuselage. ...

Next time you are down in SPI at the jetties look for a guy foiling with a Peak. That will be me. Come and say hi :-)
Not sure I've seen a peak down there yet!

Re: Moved from SAB/Moses Mast to Cedrus Mast

Thanks for the review, I was thinking of getting a Cedrus to age my old 91 Moses mast but I think I will wait a little to see how this issue pans out. I mostly ride the 633/420 setup but was thinking of trying something new when I completely trash this 633 wing. Do you live in SPI? I live there fro...

Re: Moved from SAB/Moses Mast to Cedrus Mast

I've had an older carbon mast (different brand) develop ventilation problems with surface roughness. The problem was fixed with a very light wet sanding. There is a way to test the surface of a foil by pouring water over it and trying to visualize the wetting angle. I wish I could find the video. I...

Re: Moved from SAB/Moses Mast to Cedrus Mast

Knowing that aluminum adapter will not have occasional “insert pull” issues of carbon masts, it seems to be a great alternative to Kraken Hey Grigori! I've been using 20mm high strength socket screws ( https://www.mcmaster.com/catalog/128/3427 ). I always disassemble each day for transport. After c...

Re: Moved from SAB/Moses Mast to Cedrus Mast

I have a similar setup; Kanaha 37", 90cm Cedrus, lift wings. Got the Cedrus last fall, no problems, but this season I've had the ventilation issue when driving hard. It can be quite a wipeout. I thought it was something about the place I ride, as there is sea grass that can be floating in the water...

Moved from SAB/Moses Mast to Cedrus Mast

I've now had a few weeks of time riding my new 90cm cedrus mast in both Hood River, OR and Sherman Island, CA. I'm using it with two different moses/sab setups. The first is the 695/647/421 and the second is the 799/710/370 - one big and one small. I'm riding a Kanaha Shapes 42" pocket foil board. h...

Re: New Naish Torque 2 Quick Release Control System

the chicken loops are easy to swap out. You pull the red cover up and there's a single hex screw to to take that's holding the loop in place. You can see the silver dot in the above photo on the left side. or.png the line untwist swivel is a little rough, especially after sitting on a sandy beach. I...

Re: Naish Torque 2 + i3 Bar Chicken Loop Weak Bungee

Naish was quick to send a replacement bar. Here's a video of the chicken loop reset behavior on that bar. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8eqBiiZrGws I went to go check out my buddy's ocean rodeo bar, which shares the same chicken loop part. His exhibits the same "loose bungee" behavior. I'm not sur...
