The KTA group put on a great event. The crowd lining the beach was all smiles and the final day came through with some of the most punishing conditions I have seen at Mui Ne! Well done! Great point. The other important notion is that stuff doesn't just break. It is subject to fatigue everyday, every jump, every mistake - and should be replaced as a matter of course especially if you take significant risks while you kite.

Can't comment on the described location except to say that it looks fun! Reminds me of a place at South Padre in Texas that the locals affectionately called 'the ditch'. It was the canal built to take the shrimpers in to harbor, and cut through some hot desert. I was there before kiting existed, but...
