Re: 2021 Ozone Contact Water V4 bar depower issue

I dont normally trim a kite a whole lot during a kite session these days and have never noticed any issues with the trimming system of the latest Ozone v4 bar, so I took note while using the depower strap on my last session kite foiling on the weekend and did not experience any issues with the syste...

Re: Wing Harness Line

I use the Ozone harness line and feel they work great. Easy to adjust to find that perfect length. I like that they have a bit of bungee in them, so when not using they are a little bit less out of the way. I was a little skeptical about having harness lines initially, but now really appreciate them...

Re: Ozone quiver high wind kite

Based on your weight, max wind range and your local conditions, I would recommend the Ozone 8m Edge to complete your quiver. Hello people, I am looking for advice for a kite for high winds. Currently I own a quiver consisting of: Ozone Zephyr V6 17 m Ozone Edge V10 13m Ozone Edge V10 10m I'm leaning...

Re: Do Ozone Edge Kites come with extensions?

Ozone does offer 2m and 5m extensions, however these are not supplied with the kite, but rather have to be purchased separately.

Re: Large wing size recommendation

Like in kiting, windsurfing etc, using smaller sails/kites for many are more preferable, however the big wings/kites/sails do offer added performance in lighter winds and also if the rider is a heavier rider. While my 6m is not my favorite size, it is a very useful size when in lighter winds and ext...

Re: Wing foiling with a kid

I have had a few foil sessions with my son when he was around 55lbs. He would sit with his legs crossed, facing forward, in the area just in front of my front foot placement. Winds around 14knots and using a 2400 and 6m wing. Would stay low on foil, and go at a nice cruisy speed, and managed quiet n...

Re: Dakine chameleon harness

Yotamss, The Dakine Chameleon has been my go to harness for the last 5 years. I use it for kitesurfing, kite foiling, windsurfing, wind foiling, and wingfoilng. A really comfy harness and one I would recommend if looking for a waist harness. The bonus is that it is priced really well. I have never t...

Re: Ozone Hyperlink launching issues

Richieski, As mentioned already, if you sheet out when the kite launches you will not pressurize the kite quickly. Ensure you use the brake handle to keep the kite deep in the window and the kite will fill fast. If your kite is not pressured when it reaches 12, no big deal... just grab a bit of brak...

Re: Problem Inflating and Deflating Ozone Wasp

Skiddeeppow, if you are having problems inflating and deflating the wasp center strut, it could be that you have a kink (sharp bend) in the hose connecting the strut. Other than that inflating and deflating (rolling center strut to deflate) should be straight forward.

Re: Ram air first session damage

Nayy, if the kite fell from sky as in those light winds with a light impact, I would be very surprised if a tear was caused. However if kite was hammered into water multiple times, I guess there would be a greater risk of a tear. If the kite was floating on the surface while you swam to shore then t...
