Shinn Bronq Heritage review

Skill : intermediate / advanced Previous boards : 2015 Shinn Monk, Shinn Bronq Received a brand new 2017 Bronq Heritage 2 weeks ago to replace my original Bronq from 2015 - Shinn's 2 years no-fuss warranty is exactly that: no fuss, if you're in your right, you'll get a new board. I was lucky enough ...

Re: Tourismus und Terrorangst - Wohin kann man noch reisen?

Ich wollte nur darauf hinweisen, dass in Krim alles ganz schön ruhig ist . I have no problem with people presenting/promoting their home spot, even if it is for financial gain because they run a business there. The more spots to explore, the better! And I am sure Crimae is a nice spot for kitesurfin...

Re: Tourismus und Terrorangst - Wohin kann man noch reisen?

Soooo you post this random post on the forum about how unsafe some kitesurfing destinations have become like Turkey, Egypt and Tunesia all because of "terrorism", and then on a side note you casually promote the frickin' Crimae in Ukraine as a great and safe destination for Westeners? LOL Take your ...

Re: What is the biggest risk self launching?

I would also add; Big risk; line getting snagged around a wingtip and going into a loop upon launch\ So: dont do shortcuts when walking with your bar to the edge of the window, walk in a wide arc and almost keep tension on the lines. This way you can see more clearly where your lines are, and you mi...

Don't know about Saigon itself but Mui Ne is relatively closeby with frequent buses to go kiting on the weekends.

Re: Big jump one controlled rotation

I am in the same boat as you, doing rolls but want to go bigger and more controlled. I have seen guys do a normal big boost, and then only initiate a very late front roll rotation on the way down - they really throw their head/body aggressively after flying through the air for several seconds. In ge...

Re: how many squaremeters between the first 2 kites for a beginner?

If you're not going out above 30 knots I would go for the 9m - at 80+ kgs on a 135x41 Bronq you should be fine.

where to go for right hand waves with matching side shore winds?

A lot of famous wave-spots like Bali, Mauritius, Cape Town Big Bay area, etc. have nice waves with good side-shore winds but regular footies need to ride backside. I much prefer riding frontside waves, but have yet to find a spot with regular side shore winds breaking in the same direction as the wa...
