it's definitely getting colder. the water temp is ok for a full wettie, but if it's windy (and that's the hope, right?) then you'll probably want a dry suit. most of the guys around here who own dry suits are wearing them already, though there are folks going out in wetsuits with hoods and such....t...

yeah, if it's a 10, it's at least a 2002 so the 2001 problems don't apply. if it's blown out at the same place twice i'd look for something in that area of the leading edge that might be sharp or abrasive...in addition to making sure you put the bladder in properly.

of course you need to check and double check, but haven't you ever done this and still wound up with crossed lines? it happens to even the most experienced kiters with the strictest rigging routines. i think it's a great idea to make it mechanically impossible to connect front to back and vice versa...

it's a math term...sine/cosine. when working the kite to get/keep going when there isn't enough power to park the kite, the kite is basically tracing out a sine wave pattern in the sky. thus the term "sining" the kite. the sore elbow that can result from the repetitive motions required to do this is...
