+1 for the Mako. Had one for the last 7 years and love it. Super fun in waves and nice in the chop. They do eat power though. Chop eats power too because it's harder to hold a clean line when going up wind. Expect to go up a kite size in some circumstances. Unfortunately, expect a few finger wagging...

I use Epic Renegades in waves. 11 and 13m and have a great time. Maybe it’s not “real” whatever blah blah, but they pull and drift just fine.

Epic Renegade is a nice 13m kite. I weigh 240lbs (probably more like 250 fully geared and wearing a soggy wetsuit). Works great for me.

The food is pretty damn good in Baja too
