Re: Snowkiting - are people losing interest?

It just means more fresh untracked POW for us!!!....hahahaha It is sort of odd though that more people are not as exited about it. here are a handful of guys here that love kiting on the snow as much as on the water...me included. It's sort of like sailing (boats)...I used to think everyone would lo...

Re: Gleiten.TV Test Core GTS3 13,9 and7qm

I am 160# and ride strapless 95% of the time on 5/8 or 5/10 surfboard. I am fine with my 8m XR2 in that 22-28 wind range, especially in on-shore winds + waves. Obviously current + waves vs n- current/no waves can make a big difference. I often switch between 24m and 27m lines (with all my Core's - 5...

Re: New - Flysurfer Speed 4 Lotus 8m & 10m kites

A quickly assembled video of footage taken last week. @Roberto: planning to come back to my summer hiding spot, the Magdalen Islands, next summer? Norm Well, I have dreamt of going there again ever since the first time. I love it out there! I met a lot of really cool people there and it's an awesom...

Cool stuff Normand!
Thanks for a nice report on the gear.

It's nice to have a big kite sometimes when the wind is light...but "small is beautiful" if it does the job.

Re: Flysurfer Realeases the 2015 Peak2

As I said before ...it definitely can be done... Some of the guys from flysurfer were riding with the 6m Peak +Razor side by side to a 15 Speed 3 + a Flydoor....and the Peak/Razor combo was blowing the doors off the other combo. So the Peak has the "potential" if you don't mind the risk of needing t...

Re: Flysurfer Realeases the 2015 Peak2

Anybody flown the Peak in the water yet and how it performed :?: DrLW Wondering the same. thinking the 6m would make a perfect lightwind kite for my Hydrofoil I mostly fly clouds and since they're so light they almost never hit the water Yeah, I tried my 9m Peak on a really light day. To be honest ...

Re: Omfg. Have you ever had a kite line you could not splice

Try using some very thin wire, or a thin steel guitar string folded over hard into a sharp "V", which can be fed into the line. You will want at least a 12" wire when dobed over, so you need 24" of wire to start with. i begin by marking the line...starting from the bitter end....at 4" then 1-1/2", t...

Re: Will spleene ever make the zone board again?

I have not ridden the new (2014) Spleene Zones...but I want to...hehe :naughty: I have owned a 2007 ZOne for 7 years and still love it. I sort of got into directional boards as a result of m love of this board. I moved on to strapless riding in 2009 and my first board was an Aviso 5/8 Lost Round Nos...
