Where are the North members!? :cool2: Here :) What would you like to know about it? -- Gunnar Gunnar have you tested those Reflex wings? How's the 1500R for kiting how does it compare to a 633 those wings are supposed to feel smaller ...

Re: Big Air advantage to being heavy?

So I have a simple understanding why small kites are more difficult to land softly and its to do with the speed that they fly. In order to soften a landing you need to keep the kite flying in the air above your head - note flying and not stationary. Hence a heli-loop slows the rate of descent as lo...

Re: Big Air advantage to being heavy?

I lost a lot of weight a few years ago personally I feel like I boost higher now with less weight. I also needs less kite I rig smaller often it took some adjusting I used to go out with big kites in strong wind and it was fine now I have to size down. Smaller kites take off more aggressively but yo...

Twin Tip Surf board?..
Ocean rodeo Mako is a nice board, wouldn't call it a TT surfboard but more a Carving Machine. try it..
I second that. The Mako is as close to a surfboard you are going to find in the twintip world!

Re: Pansh Aurora III vs A15

Don't really have the money for a $2k kite right now. Was hoping for something $850 or below. I want a 15 because I already have a 13.5 and I think that the end range of the 15 may be enough to keep my 13 in the air. I think my light wind kite skills are okay, but nothing special. I'm hoping for so...

Re: Pansh Aurora III Vs A15

I have a Aurora 3 15m but I haven't tried the A15 I think the A15 should be more stable because it's lower aspect but the Genesis would be even more stable for foiling. Normally and inflatable kite should be more stable than a foil kite in super gusty wind however Liquid Force kites are very heavy s...

It's the same one used by Ocean Rodeo and probably many others.

Re: Buying larger kite 15m vs 17m (Contra, Emotion, Juice etc.)

The high aspect ratio is a kite that the length versus width is a higher number you don't have to measure you just look at the kite and you know. A race kite like the Ozone Edge has a pretty high aspect ratio for an inflatable kite the reason that's good is because the portion of the kite generating...
