Yep I agree I've done a million of those and deconstructed many don by factories it's not necessary for kite lines.

Mikel I think your diagram is a 3:1 trim system with a front line flag. To me, the diagram is confusing as it is trying to represent both trim and flag systems at the same time. If the flag line is just connected to a higher V and pulls both front lines that is mini 5th, and not front line flagging...

I use a high V bar with my GTS LW 15m (Not a Core bar I hate the twist thing) I never had an issue landing it! I just pull the safety line that goes from the CL ring to the ring on the V same result except you can't reach above the V but your pulling the same line.
