Small update here... Royal were very quick to reply... After I posted here. Their explanation was that the kites had apparently left the factory by courier(several months ago) They have been unable to produce documentation to show this ever happened. They also said they needed 10 days to track where...

Clean with alcohol, let dry, apply glue then apply clamping force... I used to use 2 x 25kg weightlifting weights (hole is perfect size) for 24 hours.
Be sure to completely remove old valve first.
