Jules 46 you mentioned SailKote. SailKote should definitely help. I have been using it for years on all types of rope and lines including the bridle lines on my 3 yr old contra. It definitely reduces wear, I also use it on my pulleys. would recommend everyone use this to extend the life of your lines.

Check out a Kokatat, they are gore-tex and 100% waterproof, they are front entry and can be ordered with gore-tex socks sewn on and a relief zipper. Another spot just west of PC Beach is Lee Side Park between Ft. Walton and Destin. Great place to ride. XL Kites is the local shop, Check out Mike and his crew, makes for a great day of kiting.

Try the new Crazy-Flys. I get mine from XL Kites in Fort Walton Beach FL. Very pleased with ride, also very dry boards.
