Re: Lightwind showdown : Zephyr vs. Ovando

i think the rocket science is in making a 17m lightwind kite that doesnt pull downwind and handle; like a tractor but rather is similar to normal kiting

Re: Lightwind showdown : Zephyr vs. Ovando

the zephyr has been designed to work in light winds; only one size... the 17

the ovando was designed mainly for high winds; concept sizes were 7 and 9 yes?
i'm not sure the design will scale up for amazing low wind performance, but i look forward to video evindence showing one way or the other.

Re: Two high-aspect kites: JN Wild Thing + EH Ripper...

the wildthing2 is a C shaped kite (with a wide arc), so although its higher aspect when laid out on the ground, it wont look it once it is in flight

its a great kite for boosting once lit up, and has a fairly good low end; i'm sure you will love it

Re: Epic + Dimitri

the two kites look very similar to the kites he designed with eclipse
one looks like it has taken some wainmanhawaii input, and the other like it has some naish input

but thats just me speculating :jump:
