Re: 12-13m kite with as good or better lowend than Cab SB3 12m?

Hi, is there a kite with better or similar low end as the Cabrinha Switchblade3 12m as I look for a kite which is a fast turning and has a great lowend and also jumps good? Are delta kites in there with SB3, like Bandit Dos 12m or Evo 2009 12m? Thanks! Royal Era 09.. hands down will outperform most...

Re: Royal ERA 2009, give me feedback please!

The 09 Era excels in all of those areas you were asking about. Probably not the ideal unhooking kite but will work fine if you trim it properly. The lift is amazing and turning speed is extremely fast with plenty of power through the turn, more than the 08 model which is impressive. I've only flown ...

Re: Kite Brands Jumping the Shark

What I cant understand is the crap standard of boards out there. Its like the whole industry has jumped the shark on that one! In switching to the press construction we made HUGE gains in durability but at the cost of shape and ride. Flex is one thing, but a consistent rocker is something you can l...

Roberto is right on. If you're riding in chop you would be happier on the Rip Max for sure.

Re: Why inflatables on the snow??!!

If somebody is primarily kiting on snow I would say go for the foils but I think the majority of kiters also ride on the water when it is warm out. Most people don't want to buy a second quiver of kites.

Re: Royal kiteboarding

Valsema, it depends on what kind of riding you like to do. The Solo is a great kite for unhooking and has no pulleys. The Era is more of a hi-performance kite that boosts huge and has a ton of power through the turn. Both can be used for waves, both relaunch easy. Royal's designer is one of the best...
