Re: easily reset chickenloops

Hey there angryman did you ever think that it was just an accident? Here's proof. https://www.instagram.com/p/BxIKF9sl9RM/?igshid=bdohwsd806f1 Hey mate, maaaaate you live in Australia, right? So tell me this mate, if you just "touched" your car brakes and they block immediately, resulting in a cras...

Re: Ozone Hyperlink V2 - The Most Versatile Foil Kite On The Market

I took my new HL V1 12 meter out today for the first time. Been LEI since 2005. So take this with a grain of salt, first time foil kiter, but I am selling everything else. I bought the V1 7m this evening on closeout. Coming straight from an LEI, I felt this was almost exactly the same feel as my Sw...

Re: easily reset chickenloops

What is required is a QR that can be released with one handed push away (the de facto standard) but, critically, can also be re-engaged one handed. I recall Globe Kites (Mat Pendle) having something like this back in 2011... https://www.thekiteboarder.com/2010/08/gk-kiteboarding-2011-quick-release-...

Re: Self landing and launching

Yes kites are aircraft, they are fragile. Self landing and self launching is very hazardous if the beach or ground surface is rough, has lots of seaweed (especially dried) or sticks and debris. Self landing and self launching are best learned once the basic kiting skills are mastered, but only if th...

Re: Ozone Hyperlink V2 - The Most Versatile Foil Kite On The Market

Pity the thread got hijacked, both for the people interested in the Hyperlink V2/V1 differences, but there was also some good info exchanged on the Click in bar that should have really been in another dedicated thread. Anyway just wanted to add that from the outset with the Hyperlink V1, the design ...

Re: easily reset chickenloops

https://www.facebook.com/Rubenlen10/videos/289885721939280/ How many years did it take Ozone come to this "wonderful" "solution"? What problem does easy reloading solve? Does it make you happy to save seconds reloading your chickenloop after activating it in a near death experience? Or does it less...

Here is a very clear view of what actually happened to Ruben, and it has a voice over from Ruben as well.

Re: easily reset chickenloops

Hi all I saw someone had posted a link to a chickenloop which instantly reset by clicking it back in the holder, so hoping someone can point me back to that one I cannot seem to find the thread it was in, also who else is making easy to use chickenloops? I know someone will ask why bother with it s...

Re: Making launch safer - learning from the experts

This description above is like those "how-to" videos showing a launch on a huge empty smooth sand beach. Many of us have various obstacles to avoid and ground surfaces and dirty wind at the launch. It is not the same for everyone. If I have the option of having someone hold my kite and launch it fr...

Re: Tips and Tricks to Repair Kites - add your experience!

Tear-Aid A is only good for very small pin-holes or small tears. Anything more than 2cm long, and it's time to patch the area with another layer of bladder or a replacement. Thats not been our experience, nor that of a few kite repairers I know. We patch large blow outs frequently with Tear Aid and...
