lamination tape

Is there such a tape that can take on resin that can be used in a layup? For my next board i'm using a cf/fg combo and don't want the cf to cover the entire deck/base but just across the centre but the weave falls apart when you cut it unless you tape it first. Any ideas if that makes any sense?

Re: Advice on glue

Aquaseal is way stronger than the shoe goo. Way more expensive too but will probably never fail again/ Looks good but why can I only find little super glue size packs? At £11 a pack it's not gonna be worth it for the amount i'll need I imagine and surely if it comes in tiny little packs it's not go...

Ok thanks, will have a look.

ps, realise this isn't board related but figured i'd get best responses here.

Advice on glue

Anyone got any suggestions on the best stuff to try and glue this lot back together? You'd think for £300+ they'd at least put a stitch or two in there, proper cheap shit!

Re: Top 5 Things your instructor didn't teach you

ps Too many armchair athletes getting into the sport with piss poor motor skills and awareness. Nailed it in one! I don't think handing out random lists is going to do much except cause confusion, leave the instructors to do their job or if you really insist on interfering at least consult with the...

Re: Boy with the red Zeeko kite in Boca Raton FL Memorial Da

To his credit the next time he headed out he and his girl walked his kite down the beach a ways to a less crowded area so perhaps there was brain activity beyond the hypothalamus. So a guy is acting like a dick, you have words, guy stops acting like a dick... awesome story man! I also noted t...

Re: Board 137x43

Your 8mm at centre is 8^3, which is 2.5 less stiff than 11^3mm and 6.6 times less than 15mm :D The result is cubed in a formula for a stiffness of an I-beam. For sure it is increased with wood + carbon. Yeah I get the theory, not sure bout your numbers though, '8^3', with 8 being my core thickness ...

Re: Board 137x43

Nice. But don't you think that this a bit overkill with so much carbon and glass? This must be a wakeboard or a bulldozer of the board  Also, what is the weight? 3kg? Just saying coz my 11mm Paulownia is strong as with only 1 200g uni fg on bottom and even less fg on top. D. They not too flexi...
