Re: Is all drysuit material the same?

I have never had luck with the Nixwax either fwiw...I thought it would restore the water repelling features found on a new OR Soul but it did not. At least for me.

Re: Is all drysuit material the same?

The guys at OR will know best but it's my belief that if you experience dampness in your drysuit after a session it's because of internal generated heat built up being converted to moisture and not from external moisture seeping through. For this reason I have changed my under layer protocol and now...

Re: PIQ vs Woo

WOO condom, works great. I buy disposable latex gloves(cheap) and use the fingers. I can get 2 to 3 finger condoms out of each glove. Woo has been great about replacements but I figured why not keep it dry so it last longer. woo.jpeg I'll do my best not to mistake this for a doggie poop bag and acc...

Re: Any new review on the North Click bar

I'm the biggest gadget junkie in the world but have not been motivated to buy a click bar. Norths regular bar works fine by me and I can pick one up on close out for almost half the price. I just bought a new 2016 quad bar for 350$ shipped. I also think I like standard center lines better than PU t...

Re: I don't believe in Flex !

I watched the video and he lost me when he started saying something to the effect that the top and bottom of the board slide like sheets or something like that. I don't even think this is possible given how surfboards are built. But I've never built one and could be completely wrong. What I do agree...

Re: Custom Surfboard

Well that's what I get for trying to type on Kiteforum when on a conference call - my mind can not multi task the way it once did. I meant to say Switzerland and I meant to quote your post with FB link and not Tom's :) I checked out the FB link (while on my call) and recognized the logo. I will not ...

Are these the carbon fibre/kevlar boards made in Sweden and sold in the DR? If so, I took a close look at Marshal's board but did not get a chance to ride it. Maybe when Chuck get's back with his new board I'll give it a try before buying a Vader after all :)

Re: Survey for an electric skateboard

My buddy showed up to a kite session with his one wheel this past weekend. While we were walking across the rather big parking lot with our gear (locked gate) he was riding his one wheel with all his gear. When we got to the beach and had to walk down one end to set up he was riding his one wheel wi...

Re: Cancun - wet n wild?

I'm 99% sure that you can, at least from what I remember from going in January this year. I took a lesson with Playa Del Carmen Kiteboarding (really nice guys, double check with them), and it was too rough on the beach so we drove up to the Mirador park. Nice spot, except that you had to wade throu...

Cancun - wet n wild?

Does anyone know if you can still kite at the beach next to wet n wild in Cancun? Heading there is a couple of weeks and don't want to make the trek all the way out to Isla Blanca or Tulum from the hotel zone. Also hear I may be able to rig in the empty lot next to Live Acqua (old threads) and will ...
