Re: Duotone NEO SLS 2022 - where did the quality go?

Could the biggest factor be the bladder thickness - I don't think the valve or zipper etc. minor things cumulate to the difference. Rubber scuff pads might weight a bit, but cannot see them being the explaining factor either?

Re: Gong Mast rigidity: Carbon pro v Alu V2 v Others

A bit off topic maybe, but how does the Gong Carbon Monobloc compare? Discontinued yes, but I dont know why, I would always prefer a monobloc over a mast + fuselage + connection and screws. Am I the only one missing the Gong Monobloc? 8) Peter I can not speak of the 85cm, but the 100cm monoblock (V...

Re: My new pocketboard - Naish Hover Microchip

How stiff is the board? And would the box be durable enough if used as a pump foil board?

Re: Duotone Neo quiver 9/7/6 or 5?

I am surprised that some of you report that a 5m Neo is already pretty maxed out in 25kn. I like to ride my Neo's in the sweet spot too, on the upper end they become a handful. The Sections are right on the opposite end. Thanks to everyone for the great discussion. Just remember one's 25 knots is s...

Re: 2023 Duotone Gear

But for example Duotone asks a copy of receipt for the 6 months extra warranty - possibly just to catch these big discount giver shops?

Re: 2023 Duotone Gear

I have 2 Neo SLS from 2021 and they are really solid, no problems whatsoever and no any signs of wear etc. The SLS material/PentaTX still looks like new.

Re: Aluula Kites - for those of you who already have some hands-on experience

I am fortunate being pretty close to OR's head office, and expect an Aluula Crave will be a fantastic do-it-all really-well kite. I really wonder why nobody went with a cross-over kite sooner. Both OR and DT first got there with a low wind (Flite/Juice) which is fair and a wave kite (Roam/Neo). Nex...

Re: Duotone EVO SLS broken on strut connection to LE

what do you guys think, is it ok to have the kites repaired or should it be exchanged to a new kite if it's new kite? To my mind the resale value would drop a bit even if the repair gets covered by the manufacturer? At least that's how I think, free to disagree :)

Re: 2023 Duotone Gear

Watched the GKA Dakhla highlights, and was a bit surprised that at least Matchu used the SLS Whip and not dlab. Sebastian looked to be using 2023? dlab Wam. Anyways, very good results for Duotone Team in there.

Re: Rebel 2021 vs SLS

sounds very much like the kite is oversheeted too much.
