Banana bungalows is alright. It is a bit away from kitebeach...so a rental car is helpful. Wailuku gets pretty quiet at night...so you have to go elsewhere for nightlife...unless you meet some cool people there like we did once and party with them. Kanaha beach park is right there...and you can camp...

La Grande would be good as you are only a couple hours from the Gorge. Cold and some snow in winter...and definitely a hick town. Good hunting, fishing, mountains around there. You are a bit away from any big cities though.
Agree with the previous posts for sure. Really holds an edge and has some serious pop...but not real great in major chop. I ride a 135 as I am in a mostly light wind area, but it worked well when I used it in stronger winds because it holds an edge so well.
Will be heading to Tahiti and Moorea for the last part of November/early December. Any suggestions on where to kite? Any wind predictions? Heard it isn't the best time to go...but we can hope.
