Constructive thread. Most has been said. I have only had 3 surfboards up to now ( 2 tri fins and recently a quad) and have found that the main difference between the the 2 is that the tri fins turn more off the tail whereas the quad more on the rails. Also the quad is better upwind and seems faster.

Do you mean true C? I think there are only 2 that you can talk about if it is a true C. The SS fule and LF's MIG. by freestyle I assume you are talking about unhooked? The only brand that i know not making C kites (bridelled or not) is Cabrinha. The others either include a C in their range or don't...

There is nothing wrong with sticking with the bows, however I suspect that many of those espousing their virtues on this forum are not in a particularly authoritative position to be making accurate performance comparisons
