most spots are deserted when the wind reaches 30+ knots. there's a huge gap between the number of people claiming to do superhigh winds with their equipment and the people that actually pump a kite in these winds ;) good thing: a) more room for me b) as you said - even a small steering mistake and t...

teh raley is the basic wakestyle move to learn. from there you can get to the sbend, 911, hoochie glide and so on ... ... land them switch or blind and add a surface pass. and try kiteloops :) a forum search for 'raley', 'sbend', 'F-16' and so on will reveal tons of information on how to nail these ...

i'd say stick with whatever you got right now (unless it's complete crap - let someone you know take a ride on it and see if he can go upwind and stuff) until you're going upwind and land the first little jumps. fom there you can progress to a small board around 130x40 which you'll be able to ride f...

mystic warrior is one of the nicest waistharnesses out there. pat love two go is a nice hybrid seat/waist harness mystic high shield and da kine fusion are the most comfy seatharnesses. BUT you'll always need to try them. go to your local shop and try a collection of different models and buy the one...

by seitting the kite up with one of the inner attachment points, the barforces increase - and the kite feels slower since you need more strenght/input to get it turning.
it's a matter of choice and taste.
i prefer riding the smaller kitesizes with shorter bars.

i don't really think that the AR is that important. in o4, i was riding an f.one mach3 with a rather high ar that pulled like a truck. at other rimes i had kites with a lower AR that pulled less ... right now i combine the tribal 13 with a big board for lightwind (nobile 666 ext) - more upwind, more...

i used the 11m instinct. incredible top end, good lift and hangtime, but there's no lowend. with a big board (nobile 666 ext) i was able to stay upwind with a 12m vegas '05 and a 12m co2 '06 but not with the 11m instinct. relaunch is kind of weird when underpowered, too. it's built bomb-proof. super...

the lowend of the instinct isn't that good.
nice and decent kite, but no pull at all. try one before selling your 16m kite.
