Hi Toby, level of riders (+- 30) getting better by the minute, boards used are various and no specific trend being followed. Not too many twintips in circulation though, I supose because of our surfing and windsurfing backgrounds. We have already had contact with my report on kitespots here in Mauri...

Hi Toby, yes go small, yes go waky, but try it in directional, it works wonders for me. At the moment I am using a connelly fantom wakeboard(140) in three footstrap configuration, to which I have added two side tracker fins on the tail. Should you ever be around here I would gladly let you test it. ...

I use a 11,5 CO2 2001 regularly for my courses, and can assure you that it performs like all the others of that range, namely very well.

A couple of years back (been kiting for 4)my board got hit by a baracuda while kiting outside the reef, in the northern area of the island. The beast slowed me down for a while until 5 of it's teeth broke off in my bottom deck. It wasn't a huge fish, but big enough to go for prey the size of my boar...

Yes, on the spot learning seems to be a major cause of misshaps.
I offer serious discounts on kites if buyers take courses in my school, I found this a good way of convincing guys into a bit of tuition before heading into the big blue yonder.
