I like the concept, it's great, but on my Mako Wide it has a tendency to drag in the water in when edging at a hard enough angle, causing me to drag or spin out.

I'm 100kg and ride the 13m with a OR Mako 150 wide and a thick floaty surfboard fish. I have 6m extensions I add to the stock lines. Winds here in socal usually range between 10-20mph. At 9-12mph, just above the speed I can keep the kite in the air, I can ride the surfboard on relatively flat water ...

I got a Spleene 164 Door 2007 from Michael at kite-line.com last year and liked it so much, I got the 138 RIP plus which, of course, I like better. I'm 225 lbs in usually light winds. They are great boards, and the only ones with the same shape/dimensions I've seen are the Skywalker and UG FLX board...

27m lines are ideal in my opinion for light winds. I prefer them to the stock 21m lines that most manufacturers supply with their kites.
