What is the best place to ride on the coast with 6hrs drive or so from New Orleans?

I have some days on either side of a business trip and want to check out the gulf.

I had the same concern so last evening I made a reride grab handle setup on one rear line. I have not actually tried it yet but it should work. The hole in the plastic is big enough to allow a qline and knot to go through no problem.

The leading edge looks really thin. Does anyone know as a percentage of chord how compares to some other kites?
