Re: Kiteboarders save lives

Theyve attaches rope to the harness of a kiteboarder by me to rescue a downed kiter in side offshore winds. He couldnt self rescue when the wind shifted and was slowly drifting out to sea. They went out and grabbed his gear and then rode back in with the downed rider in tow.

Re: New to forum, help please

Hey just to give an update since its been awhile since I had posted. I hadn't posted anything because I really hadn't done a whole lot. I have been out riding but its been inconsistent. We have had mostly light wind days and a few really big surf days and a couple of days that were very gusty. I've ...

Re: ET Handle, new kite pump add-on just launched!

This is a good idea for the short pumps but my liquid force pump already has an extension on it so i have no need. I love having the extra length on my pump though. If i had a shorty id be all over this.

Re: New to forum, help please

Well I haven't been able to get out and fly my full size or ride at all since we really hadn't had any wind and the couple days we did my jeep broke down on me so I had to take care of that. However though I did figure out why my trainer kite is not flying right. The internal channel dividers are to...

Re: Liquid Force NRG Light Breeze 14?

I love my 12m nrg and have been able to fly it all the way down to about 12mph steady wind. I bet i could even go to 10mph but not sure since i am a bigginner and have only been up and riding a couple times. I am contenplating getting the 16M nrg since the last couple weeks here we have had consista...

Re: go pro black edition

Ive been using mine for the last couple weeks now with no probs. i did some research before i got mone though and found a lot of issues were from the larger 64gb cards so i got 2 32gb cards and i also bought the wasabi battery packs and charger. Re: New to forum, help please

Looking good! But your quasi-instructor is right; that's a pretty wimpy power-stroke. :P Try to move your hands closer to the middle of the bar. In the video, your left hand is preventing you from making a tight turn at the top of the window to dive the kite. Similarly, before falling it looks like...

Re: Waterproof Iphone Mount !

Yeah your right. Its really only made to protect i. Rain and light wetness or if you dunk your phone and pull it right out. I saw an interview and the guy said it was never meant to be a waterproofing solution just an added precaution. They give you a certificate though and apple backs it(im pretty ...

Re: New to forum, help please

Okay I have a short teaser vid for you guys. This is only in regular def and is a short vid of my last run before I had to give up to having cut my feet up on shells because I didn't go out with anything on my feet. Ill have the rest up maybe this week. I started trying to ride at 9 am and this last...

Re: New to forum, help please

So you think you might be a fast learner. Taking 14 pages of Replies on a topic before you finally back down doesn't seem fast. You'll be bored with a trainer kite 5 minutes after you grasp how to control it. So spend it on lessons or a helmet ! Living on a popular kite spot we witness hideous acci...
