Re: OR Soul Seepage

My Soul has good fit on seals and is in perfect condition. When I'm doing more jumping and higher impact fallings during session, all seals leak some water in. I have thought that is something I just have to accept. Merino wool undies mitigate the issue. Comparing to my diving drysuit - it has very ...

Re: Why two regular shaped twintips?

Thank you all for lively discussion and good points. Here's the follow up on my behalf. Life is short and found a sweet deal on the Bronq, so I brought it home :D . Bronq has little softer flex and quite different flex pattern. Flexier tips on Bronq and more middle flex on Fusion. Bronq has a bit mo...

Why two regular shaped twintips?

I'm entertaining a thought of getting a second smaller twintip. A question for those that have two different size non-door TTs that are both in regular use. Why do you have the smaller board and what are the benefits of riding it in your experience? Just as an example 136x41 and 144x43 or something ...

What a nice film!
All the glory to the faster than eye can catch spinning unhook pro videos, but this was way more entertaining :)

Re: How much do channels really impact grip?

Perhaps the slip out of flat bottomed boards, that also lindseym describes, could be due to fin cavitating and losing all grip at once. Could it be that channeling behaves different keeping more grip also when sliding in an angle? No facts here, just thinking aloud.

Re: Sending & lift

...If you want to boost big you need to generate serious power through your edge BEFORE you send it. Forget all about big air if you you're not generating power through your edge. This is why edge control is the most important aspect of kiteboarding and the more 'loaded up' you ride with your lines...

Re: Sending & lift

Not really sure what you’re asking here. Just thinking what is the reasoning why sending the kite lifts you up. Line tension generated through your edge is the deciding factor if you want to boost big. Yeah, that I know. And I was thinking this is probably the reason. You send the kite up fast to p...

Sending & lift

So, you ride 25 km/h and let the kite rise slowly near 12 and pull the bar in, and wow, nothing happens. Then you do the same, pull the bar in again close to 12, but prior to that send the kite fast up, and Boom, you're flying. Some thoughts: - The kite moves away from riding direction, so apparent ...
