How does the safety system work on this Flexifoil bar?

I have recently bought an old flexifoil bar and a flexifoil Proton kite. I think the model year is 2013. Anyway, the kite is fine, but the bar... I don't get it how the safety system is meant to work. There is a metal ring under QR, which I honestly don't what to use for. Then there is a safety line...

Shorten lines on trainerkite?

Is there anyone who has a good idea of how to shorten lines on a trainer kite?

I have a 3m kite which I must use on a windy day that is coming soon. I´m thinking that it should be possible to shorten the lines somehow rather than taking a smaller trainer kite with less good aerodynamics.

Short leashes

I recently bought some new Best kites and they come with a super short leash. What´s the use with these leashes? Are you suppose to attach them at the front of your harness?

Re: RRD obsession 2015 compatible with global V7 bar?

their latest bar have a low V design, and the previous ones had a higher split point (around 4-5m), which makes the whole kite feel a bit more direct (low V) and a bit more slack on the back lines (better for freestyle) but you might want to shorten the front pigtails (or put an extra few cm on the...

Re: Best Roca vs TS - which one to choose?

Thanks for your feedback guys! I´m still not convinced whether I should go for the Roca or the TS. I´m not doing unhooked tricks, but on the other hand I often loop the kite (downloops and heli-loops), so perhaps will the TS be a better choice. I´m thinking that the best would be to try them both an...

Best Roca vs TS - which one to choose?

It's time to replace my RRD Obsession 9m and Airush Varial X 10m with a Best kite, I just can't decide if I should go for the TS 9m or Roca 9m. Personally I like hybrid kites and bowkites. I have a North Vegas 8m as well in my collection, but I feel a bit more comfortable with my hybrid and bowkites...

Re: How to pump through universal repair inflate valve

Well, small valves usually have a wide channel and a little plastic ball inside the valve, so pumping through them is still quite effortless imo. Or they have no ball at all so you just have to be quick when putting the plug back in place. But these universal valves have neither, but a small cut in ...

How to pump through universal repair inflate valve

I have mounted one of these inflate valves on one of my kites. It sticks and fits perfectly , so all good there. BUT, it´s so damn hard to pump up the kite throughthis valve! Is there some trick to pump through this valve or is it suppose to be harder than as if you were pumping the entire kite with...
