Re: Issues with screw-in "Boston" valve

They don't fit. True, if you have a "new" pump and/or kitevalve, it will often not fit very well and pop out too easily, I was swearing a lot years ago when having the first of these.... When used and roughed up, it sits a lot better, so problem wears off in time. My latest kites from Storm Kites, h...

Re: Issues with screw-in "Boston" valve

We call these "mini" boston valves, as their neck diametre is about 26mm. There are many sub-types of these valves, but mainly they fit into each other as the screw cap and threads are about the same. They are safely interchangable. If you're Cabrinha kite owner with Airlock V1 valve, V2 valve cap d...

Re: Issues with screw-in "Boston" valve

This OZONE cap won't fit to Naish "green" valve. Kite brands use few version of "big" boston valves, I'm talking about the ones with approx 42 - 45mm valve necks. There's difference in valve bases, valve necks and valve screws. They all use a bit different inner valve inflation walls, and also the p...

Re: Tips and Tricks to Repair Kites - add your experience!

Hello, if it's not thin line in strut nose then it's valve retainer in the valve neck (it looks like circular cut in), which holds valve secured so that it can not drop into the strut. Take "minus" screwdriver and lift part of strut skin up above the valve neck, then do gentle 360deg turn to lift (p...

Re: Best lines on the market

The line will stretch under load - important factor, at least in kiteboarding, and it's one of the specs how "raw" line producers like LIROS measures line performace. And that is also what we meant on our site. We updated the text on our site to be fully clear. :bye: - Lately it has been discussed a...

Re: F-One bladder issues (again :( )

Hello, sadly we can not do much work on genuine products themselves (eg. raw brand's valves), but contact us on info (at) drtuba (dot) eu and we'll try to help you with this issue. As I've mentioned earlier, go with universal solution or maybe try "fit on" solution, like Ozone's one pump valve (it's...
