Re: (European) car for kitesurfing?

I think the largest trunks In the classic station wagon category do have the MB E-Class T-model and the Skoda Superb Station wagon. E-class should be pretty reliable and long-lasting as a used car. I would rather get one of those than an Audi or BMW.

Re: What's the best harness?

I had early models RE (2016 & 2018). The shape of the harness fits my back best, but build quality was not great, as mentioned above. I am using the ProLimit Alpha right now. It has a similar shape, probably does not fit as perfectly as the RE to the shape of my back, but still very good, seems to b...

Re: Deciding on first Big air kite

I can compare an 8m Pivot 2023 (which is similar to the Reedin) which I ride to an 8m Orbit (2023) and 8m Nitro (2023) which my kite buddies have. As written above the Pivot is more suitable if you also want to foil or use it with a surfboard. It probably turns a bit faster but Orbit/Nitro turn fast...

Re: Naish Torque 55 ATB 2020 vs 2021

Same here. I use my 14m Boxer and 11m Pivot on the 50cm setting with 22 plus 2m lines and find that fast enough.

Re: Deciding on first Big air kite

The board's width is more important than the length. I am the same weight and would recommend 40-41 cm board width. I use a Naish Motion 134/41 and a Naish Traverse 138/41. In rough and very overpowered conditions a usually use the Traverse, as it feels a bit smaller due to more rocker and narrower ...

Re: Naish Torque 55 ATB 2020 vs 2021

Does anyone know the actual bar widths you can set wit the Naish Torque ATB 55. I find various numbers, depending on the site, and at the Naish site it only says 55cm and adjustable. The total width of the bar is 55cm. In the outer setting the back lines are 49 cm apart, in the inner setting 45 cm....

Re: Naish Torque 55 ATB 2020 vs 2021

From my experience the Torque is a solid bar. I am still using my 2017 model, apparently the flying lines, depower lines, safety line have been replaced (a couple of times) plus that old line organizer. I am using it with 22m plus 2m custom lines. For the depower line you need to watch the plastic i...

Re: Who has tried the new Naish Pivot Nvision?

I am also curious. I only replaced the 11m in my usual 8/11 Pivot combo with the standard 11m 2024 (which is a nice improvement on the 2023 model) so far. I am thinking about getting the 8 as the Allula version, but would like to hear some experiences. I also saw one of their young team riders on In...

Re: Why so great discounts with Naish kites?

I would assume that due to the change in ownership they want to clear their warehouse.
I also think that a number of brands have produced too much post pandemic. Cabrinha 2022 kites are/were also on sale for 50%.
