Re: MAN DOWN! what do you do

My anecdote and further thoughts: -Be Safe -Ditching your kite is the equivalent of lauching a distress flare, anyone who sees a kite tumbling downwind knows something is wrong. Re: MAN DOWN! what do you do

So I'll add some remarks as both an physician and personal anecdote from kiting. Of note I reviewed the American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines so it is based on more than my opinion. Summary: 1. GET HELP!!!!!! 2. Don't put yourself at too much risk 3. Is the victim breathing a. No i. Can you sa...

Axon Jet?

Has anyone ridden this board? Any feedback?

I rode a Axon sonic in decent surf in Cabarete and was pretty impressed. I was thinking of getting something I could use in the surf but also the chop.

Thanks.

Re: Open Water Swimming

I do. And it is amazing. There is nothing like swimming decent distances in the ocean. It's really quite incredible. Incredibly calming, great exercise and keeps you connected to the primordial soup from whence we came. Plus it is a great way to start the day when the wind is not up yet. I think it ...

Re: 2010 Cabrinha IDS Pro Kit Upgrade - does it work OK?

When you set this up you end up removing the the IDS parts since it negates its functionality. Once the pro kit is installed as directed the two front lines come down and terminate above the bar. They travel through a stainless ring which terminates on another larger stainless ring which has a handl...

Are the beaches generally kiteable S and N of Kitebeach. Specifically I am looking at a place a little bit N of El Boca and another one just east of encue...
